Celebrating 35 years on Lake Sakakawea, Indian Hills Resort has been a unique venture between our family, ND State Parks, the Three Affiliated Tribes, and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. The resort was started in 1984 by Byron and Tolly Holtan who owned and operated the business for nearly 20 years and then selling to their daughter and son-in-law, Dale and Kelly Sorge in 2003.
Located approximately 30 miles west of Garrison and 30 miles south of Parshall, you’ll get an overwhelming feeling of solitude. With our customers in mind, we continue to strive to be the greatest resort on Lake Sakakawea. In the past decade we have updated all of our lodging and continue expanding our campground to accommodate the largest of boats and campers traveling .
Over the years you have seen and will see changes to the business, but the quality of our guests will always be superior. Many have become our closest friends and extended family.
